Food trucks and food-truck-style vendors are not permitted. Food may not be prepared or cooked on-site for sale.

A limited number of vendors offering qualifying cottage food or similar packaged products—such as baked goods, homemade jams, honey and related items—may be considered. These applications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure they are appropriate for and complement the goals of the Christmas Market.

Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable licensing, labeling, food-safety and regulatory requirements associated with their products.

The Christmas Market is an outdoor winter event held under the Pavilion on Court. Pavilion sidewalls will be lowered to provide some protection from the wind; however, these sidewalls are primarily sunshades and do not create a fully enclosed or heated space. Gas bistro heaters will be positioned throughout the market area, but vendors should plan for winter temperatures and changing weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for the weather and plan your booth setup accordingly.

Liability, Assumption of Risk & Vendor Responsibility:

By participating in the Christmas Market, vendors acknowledge that participation in an outdoor winter event carries inherent risks, including personal injury, property damage, weather-related conditions and unforeseen incidents. Vendors voluntarily assume these risks and are responsible for their own merchandise, tents, displays, equipment and personal property. Vendors agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Gaylord Downtown Development Authority (DDA), City of Gaylord, and their officers, employees, agents and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, expenses or causes of action arising from or related to their participation in the Christmas Market, including injuries, damages or losses occurring before, during or after the event. Vendors are responsible for the safe setup, operation and teardown of their booth, including properly securing tents, tables, displays, electrical cords and other equipment. Vendors are financially responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their employees or representatives, merchandise, equipment or booth setup to Pavilion on Court or other City/DDA property. The DDA and City of Gaylord are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to vendor merchandise or personal property and are not liable for slips, falls or other weather-related incidents. Vendors are responsible for preparing themselves, their booth, merchandise and equipment for winter weather conditions.
